Welcome to Somnus. These terms govern your use of the platform, whether you are a hypnotist offering your AI hypnotist to clients, or a client subscribing to a hypnotist's sessions. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
So there is no ambiguity, this is the exact nature of the service: (1) a hypnotist records a sample of their own voice, which is used to create an AI voice model with our speech provider (ElevenLabs); (2) when a client requests a session, our AI writing system (using OpenAI models) generates an original hypnosis/relaxation script, personalized from the client's intake answers, journey progress, pre-session reflections, and the hypnotist's method notes; (3) that script is synthesized into speech using the hypnotist's voice model, mixed with music and sound design, and delivered as audio to the client; (4) the platform manages the hypnotist's public page, client subscriptions, session limits, journeys, and revenue reporting. Every session is machine-generated. The hypnotist supervises their AI (method notes, optional first-session review, journey editing) but does not personally write or record each session.
Sessions are wellness content. They are not medical or psychological care, do not diagnose or treat any condition, and are not a substitute for advice from a physician or licensed mental-health professional.
The Somnus software — including its session-generation system, audio pipeline, journey engine, prompts, designs, copy, and branding — is and remains the exclusive property of Somnus. By using the platform you agree that you will not copy, clone, reproduce, reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or create derivative works of the software or any part of it, and will not use the service to build, train, or assist a competing product, nor register any copyright, trademark, or patent over the platform or its output mechanisms. Your license to use Somnus is personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable. What remains yours: your voice, your name, your method notes, your client relationships, and your generated session audio for use with your clients.
Never listen to a session while driving, operating machinery, or doing anything that requires your attention. Do not use hypnosis audio if you have epilepsy, a seizure disorder, or a psychotic condition, unless a qualified professional has told you it is safe. You must be at least 18 to use the platform.
Hypnotists may only clone their own voice, and by recording it they confirm the voice is theirs and consent to an AI voice model being created from it. Cloning someone else's voice is prohibited and grounds for immediate termination. A hypnotist may request deletion of their voice model at any time.
Hypnotists pay a monthly platform subscription. The platform charges a total fee of 11.8% of the hypnotist's list price on client payments: a 3.9% fee is added to the client's payment, and a 7.9% fee is deducted from the hypnotist's payout. Client payments are processed on the hypnotist's own payment account: the hypnotist is the merchant of record for their clients' subscriptions, and standard card-processing fees are borne by the hypnotist. Subscriptions can be canceled anytime and end at the close of the current billing period.
If a hypnotist completes setup (voice cloned, page live) and does not have their first paying client within 30 days, their next month's platform subscription is free. One use per practice.
Somnus does not market to a hypnotist's clients, does not display other hypnotists to them, and operates no marketplace or directory. Hypnotists may export their client list at any time and may delete their cloned voice at any time from their Studio.
Client plans include up to 30 generated sessions per month (one new session per day), which keeps every session deep, personal, and high-quality.
Answers you give during intake and sessions are used solely to personalize your sessions. Hypnotists retain ownership of their voice, name, and method; Somnus retains ownership of the platform and its technology.
The platform is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Somnus is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
